Janice Kiecolt-Glaser is a member of the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She also holds the S. Robert Davis Chair of Medicine, and is a professor of psychiatry and psychology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Along with her research partner and husband, Ronald Glaser, she is a leader in the field of psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) -- the study of how stress can affect immune status. Janice Kiecolt-Glaser has authored more than 200 articles, chapters, and books. Her studies have demonstrated important health consequences of stress. Her current research projects focus on nutritional neuroscience. This includes a study of breast cancer survivors and another study about stress in healthy married couples.
